Join an exciting an innovative immune-oncology start-up biotech with a focus on developing innovative cancer medicines by targeting macrophage biology.
**Your new role**
Our client are looking for a junior bioinformatician to help with processing and analysis of multi-omics data to support their drug discovery activities in the space of innate immune cells in the tumour microenvironment.
- Work alongside senior team members to establish robust workflows for analysing public and proprietary genomics data to advance the drug discovery platform.
- To design, optimise and troubleshoot bioinformatic analyses.
- Work diligently keeping accurate records of the results and producing well maintained code to enable establishing robust pipelines.
- To liaise with and discuss analysis design and progress with senior team members.
- To present the results on the group and company meetings.
**What you'll need to succeed**:

- Excellent scripting skills in R, Python or similar, preferably applied in a cell biology context.
- Experience analysing high throughput genomics data (e.g. single cell or bulk RNA-seq).
- Experience of research in an academic or commercial environment.
- Good communication & presentation skills
