**The Role**:
Reporting to the Production Manager the **Production Team Leader **will be required to drive organisation, delegation, management and performance monitoring with a primary function to act as a motivator, supervisor, mentor while leading by example.

You should have a proven track record of leading and motivating a team.

**Main Duties**:

- Support the Production Manager/Director and Production Team in the identification and achievement of KPIs, focussing on improving the current performance in areas of **Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and People** while promoting the culture of Rhino & AVS to be the best at what we do every time.
- **Safety**: Focus & develop shop floor conditions to ensure safe working practices are adhered to.
- Training safe working practices & take appropriate action where needed.
- **Quality**:Promote & ensure the quality of the product is checked/maintained at all aspects of its life cycle e.g.: storage, manufacturing & shipment
- Raise quality concerns and communicate effectively
- Maintain & improve the quality by process
- **Delivery**:To lead, guide & develop the assigned personnel in achieving the day to day targets within the production/support areas to deliver products and services in line with the customer needs, within timing expectations and the long term success of the organisation.
- **Cost**:To lead, guid & develop the assigned personnel in achieving the day to day targets within the production/support areas in order to meet profitability and financial targets e.g.; timings/efficiencies.
- **People**:Ensure an ethical standard of work behaviour and discipline is promoted and maintained in the workplace.

**Other Skills**:
In addition, the following attributes are required & developed from training and self-motivation to improve and succeed:

- Attend training sessions as and when required

**Required Experience and Abilities**

**Salary & Benefits**:

- Circa £28,000 depending on experience.

- Monday - Friday 7am - 4pm (No weekend working)
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
