**Key Purpose**:
**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:
- To provide a comprehensive and impartial information, advice and guidance (IAG) service to all stakeholders including assessing and advising on course enquiries, interviews, enrolment and progression.
- To engage and respond efficiently and effectively to applicant’s queries offering guidance as appropriate.
To ensure that appointments for interviews, assessments and enrolments are arranged according the Service Level Agreement/KPIs. regularly liaising with relevant Curriculum departments about interviews, appointments and enrolments.
- To ensure the learner’s journey is supported, responsive and recorded to inform the Data sets i.e. Application conversions to Enrolment and on course including updating the Individual Learning Plans.
- To update and maintain electronic processes as required i.e. maintaining resources of the letters and forms as used within the department.
- To ensure up to date, accurate information and efficient working practices when dealing with customers of the department whilst maintaining effective “at a glance” filing systems to facilitate easy access to learner’s record information.
- To comply with GDPR and the college’s Safeguarding Policy when processing and using personal data with internal and external customers.
- To carry out a full fee assessment, enrolment and cashiering service, whilst ensuring an auditable, accurate, record keeping trail of all transactions in accordance with the agreed college processes i.e. reconciliation of monies for banking purposes.
- To be proactive in reversing negative situations, managing complaints and identifying and reporting risks.
- To develop and maintain evaluative mechanisms on the services provided.
- To support college applicant and enrolment events by providing information, advice and guidance.
- To provide cover for colleagues within the department as and when required.
- Staff will be required to work/travel to any of the colleges or designated places as directed by the management team.
- Occasional evening and weekend work is required to suit business needs.
- To undertake any other duties reasonably falling within the purview of the post.
