**Telesales Person**

**About the Role**

We are looking for a hard-working, enthusiastic and sales orientated individual who believes in providing customers with the highest level of service and wants to be part of a growing business.

The role will report directly to the Profit Centre Manager.

**Main Duties**
- Answering the phone
- Serving customers at the trade counter
- Return quotations and process orders
- Proactively contact customers to ensure their needs are being met
- Assist in other general duties both in the office and in the warehouse to support this busy team

**Essential**
- Sales experience in a trade environment
- Great team player
- Excellent communication skills and good number skills
- Excellent work ethic
- A desire to learn new skills at the same time as utilising your existing experience to help this team generate great results for the company and, through our unique profit sharing scheme, for themselves

**Training**:
Knowledge of electrical products is preferred but not essential as full product training will be provided along with specific sales training as required

**Salary**:

**QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED**
- Minimum 4 GCSE passes C/4 or above including English and Mathematics
- Driving licence preferred but not essential

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES**

**Warehouse**
- Picking and packing customer orders
- Receiving and booking in deliveries from suppliers
- Stock checks (including stock taking)
- Loading and unloading of vehicles
- Dealing with customer returns and stock cleanses to suppliers
- Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and observing all health and safety policies and procedures

**Trade Counter**
- Serving customers
- Stock and merchandise the trade counter with profitable ‘add on’ products
- Keeping the trade counter clean, tidy
- Organise promotions and other customer incentives/events

**Office**
- Serving customers on the telephone
- Chasing outstanding quotations
- Cold calling new customers
- Support the external sales representatives by dealing with their enquiries
- Processing customer invoices and credit notes
- General office administration tasks

**WORKING HOURS**
- Monday to Friday - 40 hrs per week

**HOLIDAYS**
- 25 days plus the usual statutory holidays
