**Creating Enterprise Finance Business Partner**

An opportunity has arisen within our Finance team for a Business Partner. You will be confident in building relationships and providing accurate and timely information to enable sound business decisions.
- Permanent Position
- Full time, 37 hours per week. Hybrid working.

**Purpose**

The role of the Finance Team is to enable positive change and shape commercial thinking by providing data driven analytical insight. This insight will facilitate decisions that allow us to maximise our social impact and improve the value provided for our service users.

This will ensure ongoing financial sustainability of the group by leading the proactive management of the groups current and forecast financial position by ensuring we are compliant with all relevant legislations, financial rules and covenants. Achieving this through the provision of accurate and timely information.

The Finance Business Partner will build strong effective relationships throughout the business in order to provide insightful financial analysis of costs, support business cases and contribute to key decision making.

The Finance Team provides a comprehensive range of financial services including, management accounts, financial accounting, business planning and maximising the financial assets for Creating Enterprise, Cartrefi Developments Ltd and Calon Homes LLP.
- Providing advisory financial support to nominated functions within Creating Enterprise, Cartrefi Developments Ltd and Calon Homes LLP. Working to support the Assistant Director of Commercial Finance to ensure robust Financial management is in place.
- Provide advice and support to the nominated support service functions to help inform business decisions for the Group.
- Supervision of the nominated Accounting Technicians to ensure they are supported in delivering an efficient and effective service to stakeholders.
- Assist the Assistant Director of Commercial Finance with preparation of the annual budgets and associated monitoring and management of them throughout the year.
- Assist the Assistant Director of Commercial Finance with accounts, liaison with internal and external auditors, as well other external advisors as required.
- Collating and preparing business critical financial information for Managers, Executives and Board Members.
- Undertaking any other appropriate duties commensurate with the level of the role.

- Be fully qualified with post qualification experience of enabling value adding financial support
- Experience of coaching others and improving performance to achieve organisational goals
- Experience of business partnering
- Experience of large-scale data analysis and associated reconciliation work to ensure accurate management accounts
- Experience of setting up operational processes, procedures and financial contracts for personal and wider use
- Experience of undertaking ah-hoc projects and identifying process improvements
- Experience of developing and managing budgets
- Ability to simplify complex situations in order to communicate and present back to non-finance stakeholders
- Ability to lead, motivate and encourage others, promoting positive, can-do behaviours to achieve priorities, deadlines and targets
- Ability to produce a range of financial reports that are easily understood by financial and non-finance stakeholders
- Data-driven and proficient in Excel
- The ability to proactively analyse and interpret financial information Excellent communicator and collaborator who is both consultative and confident to constructively challenge to achieve results Excellent well rounded communication skills
