7 Hospitality Management is looking for a dynamic **Housekeeping Manager** to join us in this exciting opportunity. This is a full time role based out of our **Ardoe House Hotel **property in Ardoe.

Located in 30 acres of stunning grounds, this 19th century baronial mansion of Ardoe House Hotel & Spa is the perfect destination for business or leisure. Recently refurbished, this stunning property features 120 stylish bedrooms. An excellent destination for conferences, weddings and other social gatherings with six event suites and the ability to accommodate up to 600 guests.

**What will I be doing?**

As a **Housekeeping Manager **for the Ardoe House Hotel, we are looking for a creative, people focussed person to drive exceptional standards and guest experience. You will be responsible for the following tasks;
- Overall management of the Housekeeping team
- Accountable for the overall performance of the team including guest experience, workforce planning (including rostering) and department profit delivery
- Ensure that you and your teams are fully aware of the days business including occupancy, VIPs and special requests to ensure guest expectations are met and exceeded
- To create an inclusive and welcoming environment which encourages innovation and new ideas from your team
- To ensure compliance across all areas of the Housekeeping department including, PCI, data protection and health & safety legislation
- To drive and ensure 100% completion of statutory compliance training courses across the department
- To ensure an exceptional guest service experience is delivered by working closely with your team to exceed guest expectations and promote return business
- Ensure all maintenance issues are resolved by liaising with the Maintenance Manager and Front Office Manager prior to rooms being released
- To minimise wastage of materials and energy by closely monitoring and training your team
- Regularly inspect guest rooms, public areas and recreational areas for cleanliness, appearance and to make sure that these areas are kept as per the hotels standard
- To manage and maintain all housekeeping stock
- To develop and support housekeeping team members by holding regular meetings and by creating an open and honest environment
- To motivate and engage a successful team to deliver an exceptional guest experience
- Ensure achievement of KPIs for housekeeping department

A **Housekeeping Manager **serving 7 Hospitality Management managed hotels is always working on behalf of our Guests, Owners and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role you must possess the attitudes, behaviours, skills and values that follow;
- Previous experience in the same or similar role (2+ years within same role is desirable)
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work with urgency and within defined deadlines
- Exceptional people skills
- Strong people management experience
- Previous experience within the hotel industry
