Join us as a Technical Copywriter
- As Technical Copywriter, you will be our SME for all technical content within Bank of APIs, leading on the production of high-quality technical content that will provide developers with clear guidance and documentation throughout their Bank of APIs experience

**What you'll do**:
As a Technical Copywriter, you’ll be developing and delivering copy and content across multiple digital channels, to deliver on brand and commercial objectives. You’ll be working to understand all your business area’s commercial objectives and communications strategies, making sure that copy and content is aligned to the strategic approach.

You'll be ensuring a consistent, high quality copy and content output, in line with the business area and portfolio communications strategies and commercial objectives as well as building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and our content, media and production agencies to deliver best in class work.

Day-to-day, you’ll be:

- Creating and updating user guides, developer documentation, troubleshooting references, API references, and sample code
- Collaborating with Engineering, compliance, and other teams about the design and implementation of world-class enterprise software products
- Contributing to tools and processes that make documentation and software development more efficient, scalable, and collaborative
- Continuously improving the user and developer experience by creating and iterating on world-class technical content
- Enabling quick, cost effective access to existing content
- Approving content to make sure it complies with our creative and communications strategy and principles
- Communicating the business area story across the core bank, through creating and managing distribution and internal communications

**The skills you'll need**:
We’re looking for someone with significant copywriting experience within a large organisation as well as relevant content delivery experience in either a client or agency role. You’ll also bring a track record of multi-channel copywriting excellence and agency management experience, along with significant experience of content production techniques.

Additionally, you’ll need:

- Experience of writing technical content, ideally related to API or developer documentation
- An understanding of digital strategy and implementation
- Experience of influencing and engaging with stakeholders
