- About the Role:
We are looking for self-motivated and highly organised person with a passion for the environment and providing the residents, customers, and businesses of Maidstone with the best possible experience.

This role will need work collaboratively with the existing in-house operational services, external contractors, and key stakeholders to ensure the required standards are achieved and maintained by independently monitoring and assessment of the street cleansing, street scene, grounds maintenance and public toilets services. The role also includes the monitoring and manging of public requests of services and complaints. The role will be managed by the Waste Crime and Street Scene Manager and therefore will has aspect of supporting the existing waste crime team with the environmental enforcement duties.

About You:
We would expect a good level of education with a minimum of 4 GCSE’s grade 4 to 9 with ability to communicate in a clear and professional written manner.

You will need to demonstrate experience with working within a busy environment where there is multi demands on your time and able to process information to translate into operational work requests.

The key skill to this role is the ability to communicate to a high standard with a wide range of managers, contractors and stakeholder therefore to ability to change communication styles will be needed to ensure the required standards are achieved and any complaints are resolved as per the Council’s policies.
