Cleaner/concierge

Seraph Property Management are specialists in residential, commercial and block management. We have an opportunity for a Cleaner/Concierge to become part of the Block Management team, based in a new development in Cardiff City Centre. The hours available are 12 hours a week and can be flexible.

You will be representing the company by having direct contact with residents, visitors or site contractors you will ensure the highest levels of customer service. A proactive and diligent approach is required to ensure health and safety standards across the site. Reporting directly to the Block Manager

**Your responsibilities**

In general, the role will consist of primarily cleaning of apartment blocks, however, some outside work such as sweeping areas and watering plants, etc may be required as well as assisting with holiday cover.
- Completing cleaning tasks using necessary equipment and products with a degree of autonomy ensuring the highest standards are met for the benefit of all within the site.
- To work in and around buildings set out by the line manager.
- To be responsible for their own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your actions at work. Workers must cooperate with employers and co
- workers to help everyone meet their legal requirements.
- Directing questions about site matters to the block manager where appropriate to ensure continuity of service.
- Regularly inspect your areas to ensure standards are kept in terms of cleanliness.
- Report any issues found maintenance wise to the block manager to ensure they are dealt with in a timely manner.
- Remove and dispose of any discarded items appropriately ensuring the area is free and clear of rubbish.
- Review and report stock levels to the block manager to ensure there are no delays in completing cleaning tasks and follow up where required.
- If necessary, support and assist where maintenance tasks are being completed if cleaning is required following works as directed.
- Being the face of Seraph Property Management to customers, providing support services to Seraph Property Management on site where required.
- To be responsible for taking care of and maintaining all company property provided for your role.

**Skills**
- Ability of handle equipment and machinery used in cleaning.
- Ability to work alone without direct supervision.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, proper storage and disposal methods.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Excellent Organisational skills.
- Self-motivated and the ability to identify and complete needed tasks without supervision.

You will report to the Block Manager.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 12 per week

**Salary**: £10.00-£11.50 per hour
