**About this role**

**Key Responsibilities**

The key duties for the role are:

- Providing a front of house reception service
- Drive excellent customer service
- Ensuring a warm welcoming environment to students, parents, visitors, partners, and contractors to the properties
- Ensuring required maintenance or housekeeping works within the properties are reported and completed.
- Processing customer bookings
- Ensuring the site is a safe environment to live and work
- Identifying hazards, resolving risks, and responding to alarm activations
- Support the management of the site’s compliance with ANUK National Code of Standards.
- Dealing with issues or incidents and involving the emergency services if required
- Assist with marketing and student housing fayres
- Completing a variety of general administration tasks
- Ensure the communal lounges, lift lobbies, hallways and reception areas are kept clean
- Sharing knowledge and supporting new ideas to improve processes
- Planning and holding student experience events
- Social media
- Conducting tours of the property for prospective residents
- Contribute and support the growth of a first-class community and team
- Ad hoc tasks

With appropriate support and guidance, you'll also be conducting sales conversations, show suite viewings. Another element of the role is that of maintaining positive community relationships with local companies & communities and local authorities.

Please note that due to the nature of the business and this specific role there are a large number of ad-hoc tasks which occur throughout the year - the JD is not exhaustive.

The nature of the role means that you may be required to work outside of your hours (move in weekends, summer etc). Travel may be required.

**Person Profile**

Skills/Ability/Knowledge:

- The ability to communicate with staff and contractors of different levels
- Computer literacy skills to a good level (Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook).
- The ability to communicate effectively and sensitively with tenants needs.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines and targets.
- Experience in hospitality, facilities management or property management desirable
- The ability to use own initiative to make decisions that will assist in the running of the accommodation
