**The challenge**

You will be the first point of contact in the Team Hub during all European races and our Tier-1 long-haul races for VIP guests, Shareholders, Partners and Media guests and will play an intrinsic role in ensuring they have a seamless end-to-end experience.

You will also manage the brand experience in the Team Hub during the races, ensuring that those in the space get the best impression of McLaren. This role will involve travelling to all the European Grand Prix and some long-haul travel. Additional travel during the off season may also be required.

You will collate and submit the travel and accommodation requirements for the Commercial and Comms team for F1 races to Team Coordination & Services.

**Your team**

You’ll join the Brand Experience team and sit within the Trackside Operations department reporting to the Director, Trackside Operations.

**Your day-to-day**
- Enhance the Brand Experience within the Team Hub by being the onsite presence during a race weekend, manning the reception area of the Team Hub both in Europe and at the Tier-1 flyaway races.
- Ensure guests are greeted, seated and introduced to our catering FOH staff or escorted to relevant members of the McLaren team.
- Liaise with McLaren hosts to ensure you have a clear understanding of their guests’ on-site schedule and provide support with these programmes if required.
- Ensure McLaren standards are maintained with the Team Hub and the areas are presented to those standards.
- Manage the relationship with the Team Hub caterers, ensuring that they deliver catering services for both team and guests to the highest standard. This includes managing the catering KPI’s including the reporting process, monitoring results and recording any breaches and remedial work taken.
- Monitor all requests for special events e.g. breakfasts, dinners in the Team Hub and manage them on the day.
- Oversee the Health & Safety within the Team Hub to ensure all on site work within safe guidelines and that H&S regulations are adhered to including suppliers
- Daily and post-event reporting including debriefs, catering KPIs, guest numbers, event sustainability (plastic use, waste, travel emissions etc).
- To submit the travel and accommodation requirements for the Commercial and Comms teams at F1 races to Team Coordination & Services and Team & Travel
- Providing operational support to the Director, Trackside Operations including but not limited to collating and compiling presentations, providing admin support for projects, processing expenses and credit card transactions.
- Constant review of processes against sustainable best practice and set guidelines to drive implementation and adoption across all stakeholders.
- Build and maintain excellent working relationships with colleagues, Partners, industry stakeholders and suppliers.
- Ability to drive VIP guests to and from the circuit if required.
- Working at McLaren evening events.

- Experienced in working with senior stakeholders and C-suite guests.
- Confident in dealing with challenging situations and relationships.
- Thoughtful decision maker who can operate under intense pressure.
- Interest or experience in sustainable event delivery and best practices.
- Diligent work ethic with flexibility around working hours.
- Frequently required to work weekends, work away from home and unsociable hours.
- On event, the role requires long hours on your feet.
