Yard Assistant

Kenect Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Yard Marshall for long-term work for our client based in Nazeing.
**Please note this is a temporary role for 2 weeks cover.**

Job purpose:
To make sure employees, driver and visitors movements around the site are carefully looked after. Care for entrance and exit gates to ensure smooth traffic management. Accountable for the banding and shrink-wrapping of customer orders to the expected standards.

**Pay: £11 Per hour**

**Schedule: Mon - Fri, 06:00 - 16:00**
- Traffic management to avoid congestion and dangerous situations from mounting up roadside - to protect the public and avoid road blockages.
- Understanding risks (e.g. blind spots) and how to manage these effectively
- Ensuring the drivers welfare and safety is maintained, including marshalling drivers across the yard areas (following site rules) in the event that they need to liaise with the office or for comfort breaks
- Providing clear, correct and safe directions to plant operators
- Maintaining the NCR register for the Yard
- Minimizing possible risks to personnel and equipment
- Operates shrink-wrap & banding machine to package products.
- Transport wrapped/ banded products to loading area.

**Please note this role is starting from tomorrow**
