As a key member of the Corporate Cancer team you will be responsible for providing senior professional, operational and performance leadership within the directorate and across the Trust to support the achievement of cancer waiting times standards, improve patient experience, support the wellbeing of our staff and advocate for our patients and their families.

You will have qualifications to a master's degree or equivalent experience plus additional management training and CPD evidence. You should have experience of working at a senior management level in a complex organisation with specialist knowledge in performance management and service redesign, and have experience of budget management.
- You will lead on the delivery of cancer access targets, delivery of internal clinical pathways, service improvement programmes and improvements to national and clinical cancer audits and quality schedules. This will be supported by you working in collaboration with cancer multidisciplinary team meetings and an extensive cancer administrative team. The role also involves the management of relationships with commissioners, the cancer alliance and local cancer managers to ensure effective cancer pathway delivery across north west London.
- Integral to the success of this role is performance monitoring and intervention to ensure delivery of the performance management framework. You will achieved this by working alongside the Divisional Directors, Divisional Directors of Operations within the three divisions, clinical leaders, the cancer analytics team and General and Business Manager colleagues to ensure robust systems and processes are in place.
- You will have specific responsibility for improving the performance across a portfolio of agreed priorities. You will play an instrumental role providing programme management expertise to co-ordinate the programme work-streams, leading and supporting individual specialties’ service redesign projects to sustainably achieve the required performance.
