An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Business Partner to provide high quality finance support to the Delivery Hub. Here you'll get both a commercial and strategic overview of the business and will get to see the work that goes into the financials... It's agile and allows for creativity.

**What you’ll do**:

- Responsible for ensuring MU financial information for the Transformation Programme is fit for use, including consistent and controlled collation for monthly delivery to the BGUK MU Executive Team (BGUK ET
- This involves business partnering across Finance with BU Business Partners and FDs, and providing financial support and guidance to the Execution Champions (BGUK ET-1) and Initiative Owners (covering 200+ initiatives ranging from small to multi million £ projects).
- Responsible for producing financial analysis to the BGUK Executive Team and weekly workstream discussions (ET / ET-1) on behalf of the Delivery Hub providing performance information on a monthly basis including financial impacts, KPIs and milestones;
- Accountable for development of robust financial processes underpinning the Quarterly Review (Forecasting & planning processes) and financial analysis of results for presentation to BGUK Executive Team and Execution Champions (ET-1) enabling prioritisation of initiatives focusing on value;
- Using Financial Analysis to identify opportunities / risks and accelerating action to Director of Accelerated Performance, Director of Change programme office, FD - Delivery Hub as well as workstream leads and Execution Champions (ET-1), remediate any reduction in committed plan value
- Lead a focus on process improvement and reducing duplication of processes across Initiative Owners, programme management teams and finance business partners
- Provide critically review of Business cases and investments across all upcoming initiatives across MU including allocation of funds between opex and capex, cost vs. value, and feedback to IOs.
- Prepare financial analysis to aid prioritisation of initiatives based on value for insight to Execution Champions and BGUK ET and enable decisions of initatives to proceed, accelerate and decelerate.

**What you’ll bring**:

- Ideally ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with 1 -2 years PQE
- Ability to meet internal deadlines with a high degree of quality is critical.
- Experience within Financial Analysis, Management accounting and Financial Reporting preferable
- Experience of setting up and developing robust, efficient financial processes and controls
- Analytical and numerate with good systems experience is essential.
- Well organised self starter, flexible and adaptable whilst maintaining strong financial controls
