**Strictly Recruiting Ltd **are working alongside on of the UK's biggest residential care providers, assisting in providing their service users with the quality care they are used to.

This vacancy is based in the **Durham, County Durham **area.

**Duties**:

- Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with medical procedures, such as wound care and catheterization
- Help patients with mobility issues, such as transferring from bed to wheelchair
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care

**Must possess the following qualifications**:

- Emergency First Aid (Including CPR)
- Mental Capacity Act & Deprivation of Liberty
- Manual Handling - Theory & Practical
- Food Hygiene Level 2
- Health & Safety and Risk Assessment
- Equality & Diversity
- Fire Safety
- Infection Control
- Medication Administration (Only for Senior Health Care Assistants)
- Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults
- Clinical and medication scenarios (Only for Senior Health Care Assistants)

**You must also possess a minimum of 2 years experience in a clinical setting. These MUST be clinical references.**

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Care home: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- DBS (required)
- First Aid (required)
- Manual Handling Theory & Practical (required)
- Food Hygiene (required)
- Health & Safety and Risk Assessment (required)
- Infection Prevention (required)
- Mental Capacity Act Training (required)
- Safeguarding of Adults Level 2 (required)
