**Property Procurement Manager**

**Field Based**

**Role Purpose**
Reporting to the Senior Purchasing Manager. The purpose of the Cost and Contracts Manager role is to provide support to the Senior Purchasing Manager to ensure contractual compliance and cost management, developing and maintaining category strategies with keystakeholders across the Property Services and Building Maintenance categories. You will proactively seek procurement opportunities, develop and manage resource planning mechanisms and support contractual performance management.

**Key Accountabilities**
*Support the development of procurement strategies that are inventive and cost effective.
*Deliver category strategies in the areas of Property Services and Fixtures and Fittings.
*Reviewing and negotiating existing schedules of rates with suppliers to ensure on-going feasibility and cost control.
*Identify procurement opportunities across the category
*Risk assessment of existing and potential suppliers and agreements.
*Build and maintain long term relationships with key suppliers
*Manage total lifecycle costs of Fixtures and Fitting supply chains, include maintenance and disposal.
*As required attend Procurement team meetings, surveying team meetings, divisional property services team meetings, contractor and supplier reviews and site visits nationally.
*Provide weekly/monthly updates and/or reports to the Senior Purchasing Manager on contract and cost management progress to enable reporting at Exec and R&M meetings.
*Support HoPS and PMs on resource demand planning, cost management and schedule of rates development.
*To liaise with appropriate budget holders for authorisation where necessary.
*Support ESG targets and internal audit requirements.
