Graduate Product Portfolio Executive

Working in our growing Innovation function that bridges commercial, technology and manufacturing with a fascinating product set, the Graduate Product Portfolio Executive will support the lifecycle and balance of the Product Portfolio within our Currency division by coordinating the Project approval and Portfolio review process.
As a Graduate, we understand that you will not have the relevant skills and experience right away. To support you as you start in your new role, we will provide comprehensive training and development that will build up your knowledge and skills. You will also collaborate with experienced members of the team and gain hands-on experience to ensure that you have the tools to be successful.
**Key Responsibilities**
With support and guidance, you will build your capability to deliver the following activities:
- Portfolio Strategy_
- Ensure portfolio alignment to strategic goals
- Provide clear logic and rationale to support recommendations and highlight options available to the business, with risks, costs and consequences of selecting those options
- Ensure that the portfolio maximises our product platforms and balances the product interrelationships
- Connect market/customer needs through to what it means in terms of physical requirements of the product (now and in the future)
- Portfolio Management_
- Project Approval Committee (PAC) coordination, including ongoing refinement to the process and information gathered for the meetings
- Use metrics and data visualisation effectively to report portfolio performance and support decision-making at the team or organisational level
- Work closely with Product, Security Features Development and New Product Introduction teams to coordinate the commercial aspects of the projects (business cases, market testing, impact & rationale, financial plans etc)

**Skills, Qualifications & Experience**
- Demonstrate analytical and critical thinking, with aptitude for strategic planning
- Interested and have the ability to absorb information on our scientific product set, market dynamics and emerging technologies
- Organised and be able to prioritise and balance conflicting demands
- Strong verbal and written communicator, able to consolidate information to the core of the matter and convey in a clear, concise manner to diverse stakeholders
