About us:
We are a long-standing respected car and van hire company est. 1975. We are a small, family like team and we pride ourselves in our excellent customer service and care. We are looking for an enthusiastic and intelligent individual, who will be the first point of contact with our customers either on the phone or in person.

Cheerfulness whilst multi-tasking is an essential skill You must be able to deal with a fast-paced environment, and handle pressure well. Customer service experience preferred.

Your main duties include greeting and assisting customers (phone calls, handling all aspects of bookings, dealing with all queries) in a calm, efficient and cheerful manner as well as providing general assistance to the rest of the team. You will be required to be energetic and flexible and provide efficient and professional administrative support to the Managers and the team.

Personal requirements:

- Presentable.
- Excellent communication skills, English as your first language.
- Confident working individually.
- Positive, cheerful personality and attitude.
- Confident and able to deal with people from all walks of life with respect and courtesy.
- A friendly and helpful telephone manner, making customers feel confident and informed.
- Willing to learn new things.
- Initiative in getting things done; A team player.
- Attention to detail and the ability to carry out duties correctly.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Knowledge of vehicles.
- Flexible within the job role.
- Knowledge of inputting on Sage (desirable but not essential)
- Exceptional timekeeping.
- Sense of humour is a must.

**Responsibilities**:

- Answering the phone.
- Booking vehicles in and out on a professional booking system.
- Taking payments and dealing with invoices.
- General admin.
- Working as a PA alongside the assistant office manager.

50 hours per week, including 1 hour paid lunch break, alternate Saturdays.

Mon-Fri 7.30am - 5.30pm

Saturdays 8am - 5pm

Salary is negotiable and competitive depending on experience and qualifications.

Paid bank holidays off. Pension scheme.

**Salary**: £28,000.00 starting - salary dependent on experience
