**Role Overview**

To provide a key point of contact all Health and Safety activity within Bupa Global Business Unit. You will help implement, monitor, and maintain an effective safety management system to deliver business ambitions and performance for employee health and safety. You will remotely support sites in 10 other countries coordinating activity and ensuring they are adhering to Bupa policies along with being the dedicated health and safety officer for the Brighton office.

For this role there maybe the requirement to spend short periods of time in other countries a couple of times a year.

**What you’ll do**:

- Ensure that risk assessments are completed for all sites, significant risk activities, fire checks and DSE workstations (home and office) for employees
- Monitor and respond within the SLA’s for H&S queries
- Facilitate the quarterly Business Unit H&S/risk committee(s), completion of the minutes and cascade of communications
- Complete any audits, risk assessments and investigations as required and report findings to relevant parties

**What you’ll bring**:

- NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) level.
- Medium to large multisite management, or global experience
- Good written and communication skills, sound judgement regarding risk control measures with the ability to take decisions, influence and negotiate at all levels
- Be current with knowledge if health and safety legislation and guidance and maintain this.
