At Team Support we are looking for a Recovery Coordinator to work in HMP Prison in Durham.

**You must have**:

- Enhanced DBS
- Prison Clearance
- VQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or above or equivalent) or willing to work towards this.
- The ability to effectively engage with clients about their drug use through good verbal and non-verbal communication skills whilst maintaining boundaries.

This role is 37 hours per week,8 -4pm Mon to Fri

As a recovery coordinator you will work as part of a team to provide collaborative recovery planning and case management to people who misuse drugs and alcohol across all stages of individuals’ recovery journeys, from assessment and engagement through to sustained recovery.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Carry out triage/screening assessments and comprehensive assessments with service users.
- Facilitate service user access to treatment and community resources to increase recovery and social capital, supporting service users and their families within their local community.
- To promote, adhere to and live our workplace values of being honest, committed and inventive.
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies to undertake shared assessments, key working and interventions to promote individual service user progression from engagement, through structured treatment to self-sustained recovery.

**Salary**: £14.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Durham, DH1 3HU: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Support Environment: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care (required)
- Enhanced DBS (required)
- Prison Clearance (preferred)
