Our Client:
Nigel Wright is pleased to be working with a global, market leading business, to recruit an experienced Production Supervisor. The role will be based at their high volume manufacturing plant.

The Opportunity:

- Lead and motivate a team to deliver safely and effectively to targets
- Maximise productivity and efficiencies through the use of Lean Techniques
- Manage team and individuals' performance through training, development and appraisal activities
- Support quality investigations and corrective actions to ensure high standards are continually achieved
- Collate, review and report production and team activities on a weekly basis
- Contribute to the development of relevant company systems, processes and procedures

About you:

- You will have at least 2 years experience in leading a team within a manufacturing environment
- Experienced in the use of Lean Techniques such as Cellular Manufacturing, Kanban, Genba Kanri, 5S, or other relevant tools
- Excellent communication skills in order to positively engage across all levels
- Good MS Office/IT skills in terms of data collection and presentation, as well as the use of an ERP system
- Ideally, you will have experience working within an Assembly environment
