Chester, United Kingdom Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust Full time

**Working hours**: 37.5 hours per week - Fixed Term 12 Months

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised individual to join our Recruitment Team. Preferably you will have experience of working within a Recruitment / Administration role.

1. To provide excellent customer service to all applicants and key stakeholders.
2. To provide advice to managers, colleagues and applicants about the Trust’s Pre-employment checks and work permits’ process to ensure that these are completed in accordance with NHS Employment Standards as well as Trust policy.
3. Provide general support to the team e.g., opening mail, re-directing mail, preparation of mail for dispatch ensuring correct use of internal and external mail systems.
4. Be responsible for planning and prioritising own workload as appropriate, ensuring that deadlines and KPIs set by the Recruitment Advisor are met.
5. To fully utilise all relevant IT systems e.g., NHS Jobs, ESR and Trac jobs.
6. Ensure excellent standards regarding data entry and data quality, ensuring compliance with Trust standards and process regarding data protection.
7. Provide administration support for recruitment drives/initiatives and bulk recruitment campaigns.
9. Attend to visitors at the reception desk and telephone enquiries dealing with these as far as experience allows, seeking advice where appropriate.
10. Assist in the training of staff within the department.

The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust consists of a 600 bedded large District General Hospital, which provides its services on the Countess of Chester Health Park, and a 64 bedded Intermediate Care Service at Ellesmere Port Hospital.

The Trust provides services in all of the surgical and medical specialties common to a District General Hospital with some specialist services. The Trust serves the whole of the local population currently in excess of 250,000 residents which geographically covers populations in England and North Wales.

The Trust strives to continuously improve and sustain the quality of its services for patients, providing care to more than 445,000 patients per year, with almost 4,000 staff working together putting quality and patient safety, at the heart of everything we do.
