Lineage Logistics are the world's largest provider of temperature-controlled logistics.

In our Heywood facility we supply food products to help keep schools, hospitals and restaurants stocked and supplied with food and drinks.

To support increasing customer demand, we are currently seeking an Order Input Clerk to process all transport requests - Manual, EDI or Pick & Distribution.

Rolling Shift pattern: 8am to 4:30pm, 830am to 5pm and 9am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday and 1 hour for lunch.

**The role**

In this role you will:

- Process all transport requests - Manual, EDI or Pick & Distribution.
- Allocating stock to manual transport orders or EDI collection orders.
- Amending orders and the communication of the amendment specified by the company.
- Create notifications to the customer via a GRRS for date changes, stock shortages etc.
- Answer Calls when required to assist the customer with any queries.
- General office/admin duties undertaken within the department.

**Who we're looking for**:

- Basic knowledge of Microsoft & outlook and good eye for detail.
- Willingness to learn new systems.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Ability to work in a busy office environment.
- Good sense of humour and team ethic
- Supply chain or logistics background would be a nice to have.
