**So, what are we looking for?**

We are currently looking for a new Junior Development Planner to join our team based at our location in MediaCityUK, Salford. Reporting to the Development and Planning Manager, this role will assist the Land agents to maximise and drive growth across the portfolio.

We would prefer someone with a good understanding of Agriculture and farming and someone who would be interested in potentially completing further education, through Peel, such as RICS accreditation or Degree level apprenticeships.

You will also need to be passionate and have a good awareness of property and have the ability to communicate and build strong lasting relationships at all levels.

**What will you be doing?**
- Assist the Estates Director and Land Agents to maximise income and drive growth across the portfolio
- Undertake research into alternative land uses
- Research rental and sales comparables
- Search for properties on the market
- Assist Land Agents with the day to day property management of the rural portfolio
- Work with drawing office to produce plans
- With support from land agents arrange for quotes from approved contractors, request RAMS, meet contractors at properties and to inspect works
- Assist with marketing of properties and negotiation of new/renewal agricultural, residential and rural commercial lettings
- Conducting (with assistance) rent reviews
- Undertake and report boundary surveys, management and health and safety inspections
