**Job description**:
**Are you looking to expand your skills and enhance your career to include providing Complex Clinical Care or do you already have Complex Care experience?**

Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to support our young service user with his complex care needs.

We are looking for someone who is experienced, reliable, and patient who has a genuine interest in working with children. Our service user is a pre-teen male who requires support on a part-time basis during the night.

He is a happy, enthusiastic young boy who enjoys going to school during the day and spending time in his family pool when at home. He likes listening to all types of music and spending time conversing with his friends and care team.

Throughout the night you will be assisting with personal care and regular repositioning. Other clinical needs may be required including seizure management, Gastrostomy feeds (PEG), and tracheostomy management, which could involve emergency tube changes.

Due to the remote location of his home, we require Healthcare Assistants to have a UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle, as there are no public transport links in the area. The area is rural, however the roads are easily accessible and easy to drive around the beautiful town.

**Essential Experience Required**
- Minimum 3 months of previous Children’s Healthcare experience
- Personal Care
- Moving and Handling
- Medication Administration
- UK Driving Licence & Access to own vehicle

**Desirable Experience**
- Gastrostomy (PEG)
- Tracheostomy Care
- Epilepsy/ Seizure Management

**We have the following shifts available;**
- Part Time Waking Nights
- 10pm-8am
- 20 hours per week

**Take a look at our pay rates**

Weekdays: £13.00 per hour - (£156 approx per shift)

Weeknights: £13.50 per hour - (£162 approx per shift)

Saturday: £14.00 per hour - (£168 approx per shift)

Sunday: £14.00 per hour - (£168 approx per shift)

Bank Holiday: £18.00 per hour - (£216 approx per shift)
