TRAINEE MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT Job Description - PERM (25-30K)

PURPOSE

Working directly with our Financial Controller, you will be responsible for our day-to-day accounting functions. We will support your training to become fully qualified.

**Responsibilities**:
Management Accountancy
- Assist with Management Reporting
- Collaborate with the Financial Controller for cash flow reporting daily
- Collaborate with the Financial Controller with month end reports in line with company deadlines
- Month end bank Reconciliation
- Ad hoc reporting

Budgeting and Forecasts
- Collaborate with the Financial Controller to prepare budgets with support from the Financial Director
- Collaborate with the Financial Controller to produce a conclusive balance sheet and cash flow model

Year End and Tax
- Collaborate with the Financial Controller to produce year end statutory accounts, end of year tax schedules and deal with any ad hoc queries
- Collaborate with the Financial Controller to assist with VAT and general tax returns and assist with any capital allowance & R&D work
- Account discrepancies

SKILLSET/ EXPERIENCE
- At least 2 years’ experience in an accountancy role/ ideally smaller business
- Part-qualified Accountant - ACCA, CIMA
- Focused, commercial approach with a desire to rapidly grow finance knowledge
- Experience of Xero would be advantageous
- Advanced Excel skills a must including knowledge of formulas

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Graduate

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
