**Job Description** What your new role will entail**:
Depending on your specific technical experience you will be accountable for:

- Conducting and delivering technical work across a range of carbon & ESG projects;
- Managing tasks and projects covering technical, quality and financial management;
- Supporting and mentoring team members to build their capacity and expertise;
- Liaising and collaborating with colleagues, clients and their advisors to deliver work on time, budget and achieving technical excellence;
- Multitasking: working across several projects and proposals at one time;
- Preparing costed proposals and other business development materials (e.g. for webinars, flyers, case studies, etc.);
- Building positive long-term client relationships;
- Building internal networks to promote Carbon & ESG services within AECOM; and,
- Supporting the Carbon & ESG practice leadership to identify and secure new internal and external opportunities.

**Qualifications** Here’s what we will need from you**:

- Holistic understanding of sustainability and Net Zero, with a particular interest in ESG and climate risk assessment and management;
- A desire to deliver technical excellence;
- Project and financial management experience;
- Commercial awareness for business development, marketing, and proposal preparation;
- Great communication skills in English, fluency in other languages an advantage;
- Solid numeracy skills, confidence in working with large data sets and advanced Excel skills; Problem solving abilities: Self-starter, who can design and deliver work under own initiative;
and, Demonstrated experience with one or more of these technical areas:

- Carbon accounting (Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions) and reporting (across a range of protocols and regulatory regimes) such as PAS 2080, WRI, ISO14064, PAS2050, TPT;
- Climate change risk, urban resilience, and the role that infrastructure, spatial planning and governance plays in increasing resilience;
- Sustainability/ESG and disclosure standards and guidance for example TCFD, SASB, TNFD, GRI, CRSD, ISSB etc;
- Advising on and integrating low carbon and resilient solutions into infrastructure design and business planning;
- Sustainable resource management, materials efficiency and circular economy
