WHAT WE OFFER

We’re passionate about finding the right people & we have contracts ranging from 20-30 hours per week. We have a fantastic range of shifts available between the hours of 7am & 9.30pm, we will try to fit your needs & availability but we are looking for people who can work during the week & at the weekends. Preference & availability will be discussed at interview.
- £10.90 basic hourly rate - we are a Living Wage Foundation Employer.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

Are you a team player with a passion for food and people? Do you know your meat ball from your plant ball? If so, then we are looking for you.

We are looking for someone like you to help us deliver a taste of Sweden and a great customer experience with high quality, sustainable food. You will contribute to a passionate and friendly team to deliver a better everyday life for the many, while embracing change with a solution-orientated mindset.

We are looking for someone who loves working together with your fellow co-workers, looking at things differently & always want to improve. You are down to earth, you lead by example & take responsibility & inspire both the customer & other co-workers. The customer is always in focus, you strive to make them smile, taking time to seek and listen to feedback.

This is an extremely fast paced working environment and requires you to multitask, producing and serving food with regular heavy lifting.

We are looking for someone with customer facing experience, this could be in retail or hospitality. We will provide training, so food experience is not essential if you have a roll up your sleeve mindset to the various tasks & challenges that present themselves.

IKEA Food is a fast-paced environment and every day is filled with the opportunity to deliver a great value and quality food experience for the many. Within IKEA Food we have various roles which include:

- Kitchen - food prep, cooking and serving, Dish and Bistro
- Restaurant & Swedish Food Market/Bistro - floor and tills, Staff Restaurant, and the Swedish Food Market where you will replenish stock, operate a till and engage with customers

IKEA food is a big department with various roles, we can discuss your preferred working area in the interview
