Sausage Maker, Butchery Assistant, Wrapper and

You will work on the shop floor within our team as a member of our well-established business. Your job will need you to understand and put into practise:

- Health, hygiene and safety rules and regulations for an FSA approved site
- Butchery of pork, beef, lamb and poultry
- sausage making
- counter skills

We are well established and renowned along the south coast, particularly for our sausages. We pride ourselves on the high quality of all our products which are prepared to a very high standard and our sausages are all award winners

If necessary you will be trained to prepare meat products for sale in the shop and for sausage making on site. This is an excellent opportunity to develop a career working for a successful business where you will be supported and given training to become a skilled Sausage maker and possibly a skilled butcher.

**The Working Week**
Days the business operates - Monday to Saturday.

Your hours of work will be c40 hours per week on days to be agreed with the Shop Manager. You will receive 28 days holiday a year including bank holidays. The Nest pension scheme is also available
You must be reliable, a good team player with a ‘can do’ attitude and be able to work on your own as a part of the team. You will be committed and keen to progress to learn new skills and all aspects of the butchery trade. If you are invited for interview, you will see our working environment and if you have knife skills, given a block test to assess your current abilities.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: £7.47-£11.22 per hour
