**Salary**: Band 9, £36,390 - £42,207 (Increasing to £36,696 - £42,564 from September 2023, following a transitional pay award period)

**Location**: Home Working /Forth Banks Police Station, with regular travel across the Force Area

**The Role**

The Senior People Adviser role is an exciting and diverse position where you’ll provide professional strategic partnering with business areas across the force to deliver a wellbeing focus and create a high-performance culture.

Our People Partnering function is the pivotal connection between the business areas. Utilising specialist knowledge and expertise, the function ensures all aspects of the employee life cycle are successfully navigated and managed using people partnering and specialist teams to provide a joined-up service in relation to recruitment and selection, on boarding, induction, engagement, wellbeing, and development. Ultimately our people partner team are there to support all our employees and create a valued employee experience.

**What do I need?**
- CIPD level 5 qualification
- Knowledge of current and emerging employment law and best practice issues and their impact on service provision
- Ability to manage and mitigate risks
- Experience in managing complex HR cases
- Ability to build strong working relationships
