TDR Mechanical Services Ltd specialises in commercial heating and ventilation (HVAC) installations and has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Trainee to join our dynamic team. This permanent position is well suited to an individual that is looking to advance their career within the construction industry and gain hands-on experience in a thriving and supportive workplace.

Based within our Brierley Hill office, you will work closely with the project management and estimating teams. You will initially assist with all aspects of managing existing current projects and the formualtion of tender submissions. The work will primarily be office based, but you will be required to visit different sites on various occasions.

Duties will include:

- Assisting in the general day to day management of HVAC projects, such as ordering materials, arranging labour, ensuring health and safety requirements are met etc.
- Measuring and taking off materials from construction drawings and project specifications.
- Obtaining quotations for materials and sub-contract packages.
- Learning all aspects of estimating functions and progressing tender submissions.
- Making sales calls to generate tender opportunities.
- Have 5 GCSE’s graded levels 4-9 (A-C) (Level 6 (B) or higher in both English and Maths preferred).
- Have a basic understanding of Microsoft Office.
- Have a full UK driving licence.
- Be self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Have a friendly and polite manner.
- Be punctual, trust-worthy and able to work to tight deadlines.

**Salary**: £18,000.00-£22,000.00 per year

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
