Using their knowledge of investment markets, the Investment Copywriter will create compelling copy and be a trusted resource for copywriting and editorial work within the Investment team. They will play a key role in supporting new business by driving the quality of investment-specific tender documentation to ensure our market presence is clear and constant.

Key responsibilities include:

- Own and write the investment content to be used in our new business responses.
- Drive standards of high quality in all client-facing investment content.
- Work with the investment team to create and maintain a bank of case studies that demonstrates the quality of our investment advice.
- Support the investment team by writing copy for trustees and scheme members, as appropriate.
- Ghostwrite, research and edit articles on investment topics for our website and Investment Perspectives publication.
- Build productive relationships with investment professionals, colleagues in marketing, client group and other stakeholders across the business.
- Help to build the profile of our people through the production of regular investment content. This includes ghost-writing LinkedIn posts, blogs and online articles.
- Develop fresh ways to market content across different media, including blogs, long-form writing, presentations, video, podcasts and social channels.
- Demonstrate and maintain a deep understanding of our services and industry trends.
- Provide support to the marketing efforts of the investment team, such as producing client communications, awards submissions, advertising copy, digital content management, award submissions and comment for the news media.
- Develop strong collaborative, working relationships with investment colleagues and peers across the firm.
- Demonstrate both personal and the Firm’s values in dealings with peers and colleagues.
- Contribute to internal communications.

Skills and Experience:

- In-depth knowledge of investment products and the pensions and investment industry in general.
- Investment qualifications, e.g., the IMC or CFA, are preferred.
- Experience of a similar role within Asset Management or Professional Services is desirable.
- Demonstrable writing, copyediting and proofreading skills.
- Evidence of strong project management, demonstrating the ability to own the content process and manage multiple stakeholders and workflow processes.
- Creative and collaborative mind-set, with ability to quickly generate and adapt ideas to serve communication objectives.
- Ability to bespoke content on tender documents to our client’s needs.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, responding positively to stakeholder feedback and meeting deadlines
- High proficiency and accuracy in all written communications, with the ability to create well-structured content underpinned by commercial objectives.
