**Requirement**
The Project Assistant will assume responsibility for the daily support to the Program Manager as well as facilitating the full range of capability delivery projects. Whilst accountable to the Program Manager, the Project Assistant will support Project Managers as part of a Project team to enact the agreed Project plan to a successful completion;
Critically, the Project Assistant is expected to seek out and continually improve processes and ways of working that engender efficiency and professionalism.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**General**
- Responsible to the Program Manager to support the efficient running of the Project Office.
- Supporting the preparation of departmental reports
- Review and control of reports, making sure they are populated and distributed as appropriate.
- Maintenance of the Project Office calendar (understanding of Microsoft Outlook essential).
- To carry out any other reasonable task required by Management as authorised by the Program Manager.
- Organisation and management of personnel logistics, travel and travel documentation.
- Raising of purchase orders.
- Receiving in goods
- Responsible for project supply chain management in connection with the project ensuring they stick to the project schedule.
- Direct support to the Project Team, as directed by the Project Manager, in administrative tasks.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining the project inventory system for new projects.
- To file and control all project records and documentation.
- Liaison with stakeholders (internal and external) across the project and wider business.
- Management of project related correspondence (when not sent directly to the project team members)
- Gathering resources as directed by the Project Manager
**Key Skills and Experience**
**Essential**
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated
- Eligible for Security Clearance (SC AND NATO)
**Desirable**
- Project team experience.
- Logistics or travel experience
- ILS, security, safety or other beneficial experience
- Engineering experience in relevant field and product lifecycle
- Understanding of engineering and manufacturing processes
**Terms**
- Notionally 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Main working location will be Kirintec offices in Ross on Wye.
- UK travel will be required and International travel (infrequent) may be required
Contract length: Permanent
Probation period 3 months
