REED Birmingham business Support are recruiting for a Serviced Apartment Manager to start ASAP on a long-term temporary basis.

The building consists of 30 apartments and the Apartment Manager is responsible for the overall operations of the Apartments location, ensuring all guests have an enjoyable stay and leading the team to ensure the highest standards of service and standardsare maintained.

Birmingham City centre (B1) - Full time Monday - Friday8:30 -17:00

Pay: £11.80 - 15.53 per hour

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Checking apartments and managing the housekeeping team to ensure quality within the apartments ensuring brand standards are met
- Ensuring all apartments have correct inventories at all times
- Staff management including preparing rotas in line with number of arrivals, departures and stayovers, allocating workloads each day
- Training of new and existing staff members to ensure team are working effectively and efficiently
- Completing Team Meetings, Appraisals, Monthly one to ones and Performance Improvement plans if and when required for all staff
- Developing cost budgets with Managing Director
- Controlling expenditure in all aspects of the business, especially in labour costs
- Liaising and building relationships with contractors and suppliers ensuring best value is achieved whilst maintaining appropriate standards
- Managing the maintenance teams workload and checking standards
- Responsible for all health and safety at the location, including preventative and reactive maintenance - updating PPM records and ensuring work is carried out in a timely fashion by vetted contractors
- Liaising with guests and agents to ensure a smooth check in process for all guests through on site and out of hours check in processes
- Completing pre arrival, post arrival and post departure calls to build relationships with guests as well as in person communications
- Dealing with guest complaints in a timely manner, responding to reviews on OTA sites
- Use company systems to ensure all reservations are checked and processed correctly, payments and security deposit links are sent and received, special requests are actioned
- Ensuring all company paperwork is uploaded and correct including delivery notes
- Participating in the 'on call' Duty Manager Rota.

Previous hotel or residential management experience required.
