The Role

The Senior Employee Relations Specialist will play a key part in helping to shape the Employee Relations landscape. The role is UK-focused but also has a global remit and will have the opportunity to deliver a first class employee relations service by providingspecialist and technical advice. The role will also have the opportunity to get involved in wider HR activities and projects.

They are looking for someone who is happy to work in a fast paced, high growth, dynamic and ambiguous environment.??We are looking for someone who is able to lead and resolve ER cases using the weight of your own experience as well as a strong knowledgeof employment law principles.

Please note, this role is based at the Oxford office with some flexibility to work from home. Occasional travel to other global sites may be required.

As the Senior Employee Relations Specialist you will have the opportunity to:

- Provide pragmatic and commercially sound advice for managers to effectively deal with their day-to-day people management issues
- Support and advise managers on a range of informal and formal employee relations casework matters ensuring all ER cases are completed in an accurate and timely manner
- Manage complex employee relations cases, end to end including disciplinary, grievance, probation, appeal and well-being cases
- Collaborate successfully with team members, sharing knowledge and expertise freely with others
- Use various technologies to evolve and enhance ER case management

**Requirements**:

- Proven ER experience managing complex disciplinary and grievance issues or investigations, with the ability to balance risk and the ability to bring your own knowledge to drive successful outcomes
- Diversity of thought, with the ability to articulate own perspective and listen and understand those of others
- Communication and influencing skills with the ability to interact across all levels of management
- Attention to detail, problem-solving ability and ability to deliver results to demanding deadlines
- Solid organisation skills with the ability to simultaneously manage conflicting and demanding clients, priorities and activities in a high-pressure, scale-up environment
