Prospectus is delighted to be supporting The Circle as they look to appoint a new Head of Advocacy and Campaigns to their team. This role will preferably be offered at 4 days per week, however is open to flexibility.

The Circle NGO is a small, unique and dynamic organisation which brings global feminists together to fight for the safety and equality of marginalised and vulnerable women around the world.

Founded by singer-songwriter and activist, Annie Lennox, The Circle is a space for creative ideas, connections and the opportunity to make change. From small beginnings in 2008, they have grown into an independent network of women and allies from all walks of life who are bonded by the desire to live in a world where women and girls' equal rights and equal opportunities. Whether it's fighting for a living wage for garment workers or demanding an end to violence against women and girls, The Circle's strength lies in the collective activism of its network who fund, advocate and amplify.

This is an exciting time to join The Circle. The organisation has a new 5-year strategic plan and is looking for its first Head of Advocacy and Campaigns who can join a small but growing team supporting in taking the organisation to the next level. You will come in to define and develop key strategies and propositions for the organisation as well as drive their work delivering economic empowerment and the ending of violence against women and girls.

We are looking for an ambitious, experienced and innovative advocacy and campaigns professional to build The Circle's influence and impact by driving transformational policy change for women and girls around the world. You will create Circle-led advocacy campaigns, support grassroots partner organisations, and look to also work in coalition with others. You will have experience of building effective relationships with a variety of high profile stakeholders across different fields and professions.

The Circle benefits from a number of well-connected and skilled supporters who recognise the value they can play in in global women's rights advocacy. This role will work to maximise the potential of the organisation, pulling together unique influencing power as a global feminist network of changemakers that include high profile stars, lawyers, feminist activists, grassroots partner organisations and the public.

This is the perfect opportunity for a proactive, engaged and passionate professional to come into a small organisation and help develop and deliver key deliverables. Vital to this role will be someone who can balance being strategic and hands-on. Currently a team of 5, you will come in at a pivotal time to help enable and influence the organisations continued success.
