We are looking to recruit a Research Administration Officer to work within our Clinical Directorate.

The role requires provision of a high-level, confidential and comprehensive administration service to key senior members within the Academic Research Unit (Research Team) within the Clinical Directorate.

It is the responsibility of each member of staff to ensure that they maintain the confidentiality and security of all information in accordance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Data Protection Act 2018, the common law duty of confidentiality and, for the protection of patient confidentiality, the principles of Caldicott.

Staff must be aware of and adhere to the provisions of the Health and Safety at Work Act and to ensure their own safety and the safety of colleagues and patients.
- To provide administrative support to the research team, including handling correspondence with research participants
- To take a lead role in organising and administering meetings, including room bookings, taking and circulating minutes
- Access and interpret information from internal IT systems e.g., electronic staff records, GRS in response to requests from managers in a timely manner.
- Maintain staff records and ensure confidentiality.
