JOB ROLE
We are currently looking for an experienced Digital Savvy Account Manager for our growing, fun and enthusiastic Design and Marketing Agency based in Surrey. This role requires travel to the office once a week.
This role will focus on successful delivery of client projects, bringing together resources and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. You will be an experienced relationship builder who has a vision to identify key opportunities for accountgrowth. Working closely with the internal teams to ensure that schedules run smoothly and client work is prioritised. Being a team player is key and you will be able to manage tasks and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
You will be looking after several accounts that are both on retainers and stand-alone projects. Your job role will be to retain the current retainers by providing excellent account management through your organisational skills and digital marketing knowledge.You must be able to think outside the box and work with our team to produce strategies to help deliver both awareness and enquiries for our clients. If you have previous experience, 5 years + either as an account manager working for a digital marketing agency,or experience in a marketing position but looking to move to a digital agency"
- Plan, scope, execute and delivery of a full digital strategy for clients.
- Organise marketing tasks and deliver projects on time/budget.
- Manage the workload and challenges that arise within any projects.
- Be that main point of contact for clients and the internal teams.
- Provide scope of work and project timelines to ensure all projects stay on track.
- Update the production schedule and prioritise tasks
- Use your digital marketing knowledge to identify and convert growth opportunities - Monitor the performance of campaigns; evaluating and working with the digital team to continually review and improve performance.
- Evaluate trends, insights, customer research, market research and competitor data and use it to inform ongoing development of digital strategies
- Be able to prepare and present campaign progress/results/KPIs
- Keep up to date with latest trends in digital marketing
Skills/Experience
- 2+ years experience within agency as an account manager
- Excellent knowledge of Digital & Marketing Strategies
- Knowledge of online monitoring and measurement platforms e.g. Google Analytics, Facebook insights, etc.
- Experience with marketing automation platforms e.g. SharpSpring, Hubspot etc.
- Highly organised and process driven with good project management skills.
- Great attention to detail and pro-active attitude, always looking to improve ways of working.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A positive and creative thinker and problem solver.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple tasks while coping under pressure.
- Proven record of growing client relationships and growth opportunities.
- A desire to learn new skills.
- Ability to work constructively and positively with clients at meetings, on calls, and via online communications.
