**AK Recruitment** is currently looking for pallet fixers for our prestigious client in Grangemouth. This is dayshift/backshift rotational position and nightshift with 37.5 hours guaranteed.

Please note that the job is physically demanding so good health and shape is essential.

Full training is provided.

Job Role:

- Inspecting pallets before they are repaired
- Repairing pallets using various hand power tools including nail guns, saws etc
- Keeping working tools in a safe condition
- Quality checking the finished product
- Liaising with supervisor regarding broken pallets
- Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment
- Adhering to strict Health and Safety rules and regulations
- You will be based at your own workstation and must be happy to do repetitive duties
- Must be happy to work in a labor-intensive environment.
- Laboring experience or similar is desirable.
- Confident using hand tools
- Able to work safely and efficiently
- To wear required PPE throughout working shift.
- Attention to Details

Hours of work:
Monday to Friday one week 6am-2pm, other week 2pm-10pm

Nightshift is Sunday to Thursday 10pm - 6am

Breaks:
1x 30mins paid break

2x 15mins unpaid break

Pay:
274 pallets and less:
£9.50 - basic 37,5 hrs

£14.25 - overtime

275 pallets and more:
£10.85 - basic 37,5 hrs, this rate goes up to £11.50 after 12 weeks of work

£16.27 - overtime, this rate goes up to £17.25 after 12 weeks of work

£21.70 - for any hour worked on a Sunday, this rate goes up to £23.00 after 12 weeks of work

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm

**Salary**: £9.50-£11.50 per hour
