Job Introduction
East Sussex County Council are looking for a committed and skilled maintenance person. Someone who is able to work to the highest standards and is passionate and knowledgeable about Health & Safety - is that you?

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Premises Officer to join the Library Services team. The successful applicant will be responsible for caretaking tasks such as general maintenance, minor repairs, security, and occasional cleaning across several locations in the West area of the county.

You will need to be flexible, have good organisational skills, and be able to communicate well with staff and customers on all levels.
- Have good customer service and communication skills
- Are able to undertake manual handling tasks
- Are able to work at minor carpentry work, for example, repairing furniture and fittings
- Are able to manage own time effectively and deal with conflicting demands
- Are self-motivated

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
