**An opportunity to play your part** - As the Vendor Master Operations Specialist, you will provide end user support for UK and Ireland relating to all vendor master data creation and maintenance activity. You’ll collaborate with the Accenture offshore Vendor team to ensure processes are running smoothly and any issues are handled quickly and efficiently within KPI’s. You will help support the delivery of Services performed by the offshore team, work with key stakeholders across the Centrica UK & Ireland businesses whilst also covering Purchasing and E-Invoicing activities as and when needed.

**The day to day**
- Accountable for inviting and onboarding existing SAP Vendors onto SLP (Supplier Life cycle and Performance)
- Operate and sign off accountabilities for Aris Controls within area of responsibility.
- Ensure Aris Controls are relevant and identify any weaknesses that need to be addressed.
- Complete all Independent Verifications relating to Bank or contact details changes.
- Accountable for updating and maintaining Intranet Procurement landing page for onboarding and maintaining Vendors.
- Manage escalations from offshore and the Business and resolve related queries.
- HMRC verification for CIS Vendors.
- Meeting with Key Stakeholders across all business areas within Centrica to ensure that they are receiving the expected level of service and engagement across the vendor and purchasing operations function.
- Provide support/advice to the business on best practise.
- Training and guidance to internal stakeholders on related systems and processes.
- Point of contact for escalations from internal and external customers.
- Driving process improvement and efficiency to transform vendor onboarding and master data into a best-in-class operation.
- Attending and participating in supplier review meetings as and when needed.
- UAT requirements - ensure that these are co-ordinated and completed and issues resolved prior to sign off.

**About you**
- Experience within vendor master data and purchasing operations is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills - the role will be engaging individuals and teams at all levels across the business therefore needs to be credible, engaging and be able to develop effective working relationships across the business and with 3rd parties.
- Excellent presentation skills (written and verbal) - communicating performance, issues and being able to analyse our performance is critical to driving the processes forward.
- A high degree of self-motivation and a proactive approach.
- Ability to work under demanding time scales and be results driven.
- Strong systems skills across numerous systems including Ariba Network (SLP), SAP, PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Teams would be an advantage.
