We're looking for a Software Tester to join our small, agile Test team. In this role, you'll be working collaboratively across the wider team to understand the scope of change, the associated risks and how this impacts test coverage. You'll be responsible for translating business rules and operations into test cases.

You'll actively seek out new ways to do things and constantly be looking to improve the ways we work. Your own learning will be a key motivator for you in this role, you'll be able to shape this role based on your own knowledge, experience and tenacity. You'll have a passion for exploring new technologies and in this role we're relying on you to see how these can be used to create value in the test space.

**A bit about you**

Your friends would probably describe you as 'the curious one'. You'll be the person always trying to find the answer to complex problems and brain teasers. You'll be happiest when tinkering with new technologies and finding betters ways to deliver phenomenal code. You'll be someone who challenges the status quo and who loves to improve the ways in which you and the team work.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design, implement, and maintain test cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify and report defects.
- Utilize test automation tools such as Selenium, JavaScript, Python/Pytest to enhance testing efficiency (experience with these tools is desirable).
- Employ analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues.
- Perform exploratory testing to uncover potential vulnerabilities.
- Maintain a strong focus on effective communication and reporting.
- Utilize SQL knowledge to facilitate testing processes.
- Familiarity with wrap platforms like Sonata RDA and FnZ is a plus.

**Qualifications**:

- Strong manual testing experience and exposure to automation.
- Effective communication and reporting skills.
- Competence in designing, implementing, and maintaining test cases.
- Familiarity with test automation tools (Selenium, JavaScript, Python/Pytest preferred).
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn Python and Pytest.
- Understanding of exploratory testing methods.
- Knowledge of SQL is highly advantageous.
