**Role Description**

Food is a growing part of our UK & Ireland festival and venue business and an integral part of the customer experience at our events. We are looking for a Food Experience Development Manager to own the development of this exciting area across all channels.From hundreds of traders across large festival sites, to regional opportunities in our venues across the country.

**Who you are**

**Competencies / Skills / Knowledge / Experience**
- Proven experience of developing food and beverage propositions
- Experience in delivering high-quality, high-volume food experiences in a hospitality or leisure environment
- Expert knowledge in current and emerging trends and customer expectations within the UK food industry
- Understanding of menu analysis and engineering
- Hospitality technology (i.e. EPOS, mobile ordering platforms)
- Knowledge of and qualification in current UK food safety standards
- Leading and influencing in house and third-party partners and suppliers
- Commercial acumen and the ability to analyse large amounts of data

**What the role includes**
- Developing central guiding principles on food experience alongside bespoke strategy for each festival and venue business area
- Implementation of a food development cycle process engaging with internal and external stakeholders
- Monitoring and reacting to food trends while benchmarking product, price and experience against direct and indirect competitors
- Gathering customer feedback and insight, utilising this to influence business direction
- Procurement and sourcing of products and suppliers
- Implementation of hospitality technology solutions
- Owning key supplier relationships to influence and champion the delivery of a food experience strategy centered in customer experience excellence and driving commercial growth
