We are a family run business in the property development industry based in Morningside, central Edinburgh.

We have various companies involved in different industries throughout Scotland (Property Development, Leisure & Hospitality, Property Investment, Pharmaceutical Retail) and this exciting administrative position allows the position-holder exposure to all of these industries in a professional setting.

No two days will be the same in our unique and comfortable office setting, which is why we are on the hunt for a versatile individual who can think on their feet and proactively manage a variety of tasks.
- **About The Role**:_
- Assisting the Accountant with Monthly and Quarterly VAT Returns
- Bank account reconciliation
- Upload of invoices to Xero
- Assisting with utilities and billing enquiries
- Checking aged payables of bank accounts
- Preparation of invoices
- Frequent communication with creditors
- Chasing up copy invoices and checking Xero portal against statements
- Opening credit accounts with suppliers
- Employee hours calculations, and subsequent checking and sending of weekly payslips
- Seeing to daily banking for various businesses
- General admin tasks (filing, sorting mail, answering the phone, etc)
- Social media content for some of the businesses
- Marketing posters
- Compilation and comparison of property development materials
- **About You**:_

Experience with payroll is desirable, but not required

A valid UK driving license would be handy, but is not required

This position is part time with flexibility in hours, commencing in August 2023.
