Junior Facilities Manager

We are currently working with a national Property Management firm to source a junior FM to oversee an office building in central York (within walking distance of the train station). This is excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow and progress theircareer in Facilities Management with a company that can support and develop you on that journey.

Junior FM core responsibilities:

- The junior FM will be based on the reception desk and will oversee the facility ensuring all building upkeep and maintenance needs are met and that process are in place and followed for planned works where required.
- Liaise with suppliers to review the service and ensure KPI's are being met and value for money is being achieved.
- Complete monthly and quarterly reviews and audits of the site submitting the response to facilities manage to review.
- Raise work orders for all contracts and ensure they are in line with annual allocated costs, reporting back when variations occur.
- Raise reactive jobs on the Helpdesk and follow up as required providing all requested information.
- Build and maintain good working relationships with tenants through quarterly tenant meetings.
- Manage health & safety and compliance onsite ensuring all work to be completed has adequate H&S arrangements and permits in place before being carried out.
- Supervise site staff (3rd party, contractors or direct reports) with a focus on training, development and performance.

For this the client is offering a salary of £25,000 per annum with parking available and excellent development opportunities for the successful applicant.
