**Responsibilities**:

- Lead small-group activities, providing targeted support to students who require additional assistance or extension.
- Help to develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies, catering to the diverse needs of students.
- Facilitate the learning process by providing guidance, clarifying concepts, and offering constructive feedback to students.
- Collaborate with teachers to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment, ensuring the welfare and well-being of all students.
- Assist in the planning, preparation, and organization of teaching materials and resources, tailored to meet individual student needs.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, behaviour, and achievements, contributing to assessment and evaluation processes.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, promoting a culture of respect, engagement, and collaboration.
- Contribute to the school's extracurricular activities, trips, and events, providing a well-rounded educational experience for students.

**Requirements**:

- Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 4 Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent, demonstrating your expertise and proficiency in supporting teaching and learning.
- Experience working as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational role, with a proven track record of effectively supporting student progress and achievement.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritise effectively.
- A proactive and flexible approach to work, with the willingness to adapt and assist in different areas of the school as required.
- A genuine passion for education and a commitment to supporting the learning and development of all students.
- An understanding of effective teaching strategies and the ability to implement these strategies in a classroom setting.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
