Bank Support Worker

We’re looking for charismatic Residential Support Workers to join our brand new refurbished 3 bed EBD Children’s Home in Birmingham, Stirchley who are looking for the next step in their career.

**As a Bank Support Worker, your responsibilities will include**:
- Safeguarding children and young people and ensuring safeguarding policies are adhered to
- Creating positive relationships with children, giving them unconditional dignity and respect
- Providing physical, emotional, behavioral and cultural support to children
- To be sensitive to the needs of individual young people, taking account of race, language, religion, sexuality and culture
- Undertake direct work/key work sessions with children
- Contribute to the normal development of young people through the provision of a healthy lifestyle, a variety of appropriate activities and a consistent caring adult role model
- Assisting with practical matters relating to care (cooking, cleaning etc.)
- Continually maintaining accurate and clear record keeping, and complete administrative duties as designated by the Registered manager and/or senior support staff
- Adhere to care plans and assessments agreed with the Manager in their support of the young person.
**Job requirements**:
- Diploma or NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People’s Workforce.
- A Full Manual UK Driver’s License
- A commitment to personal development
- Experience working with Young People within a residential environment
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.00-£13.00 per hour

- Support Worker: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- NVQ L3 in Children & Young People’s Workforce (preferred)
