**Experienced Veterinary Receptionist Required for Friendly, Busy First Opinion Practice**

**Lake View Veterinary Centre, Thrapston, NN14 4PP**

Job type is full-time, permanent, with a salary in excess of National Living wage. The position offered is for a full-time veterinary receptionist role of 37.5 - 40 hours per week offering flexibility to work differing shifts across five weekdays. In order to provide sufficient cover however, full days on a Tuesday and Wednesday are essential as part of the role offered.

Hours include:
Monday 1-7pm

Tuesday 8.30am - 7pm

Wednesday 8.30am - 7pm

Thursday 1-7pm

Friday - 8.30am - 3pm

**Essential Qualities**:
Minimum of one year experience of veterinary practice

IT literacy in Microsoft 365 and client management systems

Full, clean driving licence

GCSE’s grade 9-4 (A*-C) or equivalent including English and Maths

Proven record of providing exceptional customer service in veterinary or animal welfare organisation

Demonstrable organisational skills, with the confidence to prioritise, signpost and seek guidance where required

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally

Proficient in manual handling in order to receive deliveries and complete stock checks

**Desirable Qualities**:
Evidenced animal handling experience

Level 3 qualification in animal behaviour, welfare and training or similar
