**Overview**:
Buckinghamshire Council is currently recruiting for a Funding Support Officer to join the Community Board team.

This is a secondment/fixed-term contract opportunity until January 2024.

**About us**:
The 16 Community Boards are the local face of the Council, working with partners, communities and organisations to improve and develop their local area through engagement and partnership working, but also through funding projects. Each Community Board has a budget to fund local projects which meets the Council’s and local Board priorities.

**About the role**:
You will provide support to the senior management team as well as cover for Community Board Managers when required, including preparation of Community Board meeting papers and attendance at meetings. You will also support community engagement events, prepare communications and social media work.

Any-Desk:
As an ‘any-desk’ worker, you’ll need to be connected to our network to access digital folders and resources, but this can either be from home or an office location when required. You will be required to work from the office a couple of times a week, depending on your role and team requirements*.
