**The role**:
We are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join our HR team in our centrally located Nottingham Head Office. We are close to the City centre, with good links to the bus and tram network and the local train station.

As HR Advisor you will operate in a generalist role, ensuring the effective delivery of reactive and proactive HR support, providing advice and guidance on policy, processes and procedures to employees and people managers in conjunction with employment legislation.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Coaching and supporting people managers in connection with HR related matters, including performance management, conduct and absence.
- Dealing with employee relations cases, (investigation, disciplinary, absence, performance, flexible working) providing guidance and support to people managers
- Case management of long term and short-term sickness and absences
- Overseeing the recruitment lifecycle, including the successful on-boarding all of employees
- Optimising all recruitment related material on social media platforms
- Collaborating with other HR team members to standardise HR policies and procedures, measuring their effectiveness and updating as required.
- Supporting with various aspects of learning & development across the business.

This role is office based with occasional travel to other sites which dependant on geography, may require an overnight stay so a full driving licence is a necessity.

**What we need from you**:

- Experience working at HR Advisor level within a HR team
- Ideally CIPD qualified or studying towards (desirable not essential)
- Knowledge of the employee relations process
- Able to work onsite every day
- Personable and able to build relationships at all levels
